346 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Drum Kit"

An attempt to make an entire drum kit using only cymbal sounds. Cymbals were pitch-shifted, compressed, equalized, and subjected to other effects in order to make them capable of filling the roles usually occupied by actual drums. Tr606+tr808+cr78+casio mt-36+fx+editspart of an experiment with recordings of three of my favourite analogue drum-machines and a keyboard with amazing drum sounds, intended to create the ultimate combination of all four. This is an experiment. This is work in progress. I won't settle on one ultimate sound -- i will upload several best versions of each drum hit gradually as i fiddle with them. Also expect the rest of the kit soon :).

These are tr 505 one shots on a bent 505, some are 1 bar patterns and so forth! good for a battery kit.

Old yamaha drum kit recorded through a qfx shoebox taperecorder's built in mic. Then i played the tape and recorded a voicenote on a samsung galaxy note s1. I like the grain and texture so hopefuly helps for your lo-fi intended tracks.

These are tiny sounds that sound like drums i made in audiopaint by converting images to sound. The sounds in this pack are all public domain (creative commons 0 license) so you don’t need to credit me.

Took a drum loop and pitched out 3 different layers of itself, one at half speed an octave down, one at quarter speed 2 octaves down, and one on top that starts out chopped up into separated transients and returns to full speed at the end. I originally made this to be 3 different levels of progression for a backing drum-loop, with the first section being the buildup, the second as the transition/windup, and the third as the breakdown.

Various plastic tubes, boxes and containers recorded with tascam dr-05 and mastered with audacity. No added effects except compression and minimal reverberation.

Originally made for the disquiet junto project 0433: "kit bits: create a kit’s worth of percussion samples. ". I used 1. Recordings with a telephone coil microphone recording sounds from an external blu ray drive and a smartphone (telephone coil recorded via behringer xenyx q1202 usb mixer, line-in) and 2. Random recordings from a soma ether device (recorded with zoom h1n, line-in). In these recordings i picked up those areas which i though to be useful for a drum kit, just as i would do it for myself. This track contains all samples in no special order in one file. All samples my own, released into cc0 public domain. Would be nice to hear if someone does something with it. This is the fat snare of god expanded, improved, and played with rubber sticks. There are more softer hits, for a better feeling at fills.

A boomy break i made from a variety of free hits using jeskola buzz sequencer, with an ohm boys lfo effect applied.

After reading about how the winstons’ drummer never got a penny in royalties for the tens of thousands of times the amen break was sampled, i created this tribute in hydrogen and audacity using a free kit. Have fun!.
